Interview Tracking

Interview Tracking allows you to place down your AXIBO pan tilt unit and start a tracking interview with just the quick touch of a button. This is great when your setting up your camera as a second camera in an interview shot, this will help you get dynamic movement for more interesting shots.
Running Interview Tracking
Press the three line (hamburger) button to get to the navigation menu.
Press the interview button this will take you to the Interview mode with an option for "Interview With tracking" or "Interview With Keyframes"
Click the "Interview With Tracking" button.
If your slider has not been calibrated then make sure to do so using the button "Calib" button in the Joystick menu. The slider will then go to the motor end of the slider and calibrate off of that position, and then go to the start zero position.
If there is a person on the onboard camera or the HDMI feed, then all you need to do is press the "Start Track" button. It will show green dots on the person so you will know they are selected for tracking. Once you start tracking, there will be a white box around the person.
The buttons on the left above the slider speed allow you to enable and disable the axes. Just press the name of the axis to disable the axis. When the button is dark blue, the axis is disabled. When it is a light blue the axis is enabled.
The slider speed allows you to adjust the speed of the slider as it moves back and forth.
To stop tracking you can either press the "X" on the right midway down the screen, or you can press the "Stop" button next to the "Start track" button.
Adjusting Offsets
Offsets will help you to adjust the framing while AXIBO is tracking. First, navigate to the offsets page by pressing the "Offsets" button.
Use the arrow keys to adjust the framing.
Use the bottom three buttons "1.0" "5.0" "10" to adjust the distance each framing image moves.
The "Clear Offsets" button allows you to clear any offsets you have saved on different body parts. A pop-up will appear asking if you are sure you want to clear the offset. If you do want to clear the offsets, press "Yes".
Interview Settings
In the interview settings page you are able to adjust the speed at which each axis moves, transition speed between body parts, what body part is selected for tracking, and set the safety zones.
The top drop down menu allows you to select different body parts to track. Press the drop down and then select the name of the body part listed.
The sliders allow you to adjust the speed at which each axis moves during tracking.
The "Transition Speed Slider" changes the speed at which AXIBO will transition to different body parts when selected.
The "Default" button resets all the speed and transition sliders to their default position.
Safety Zones
Click the "Safety Zones" button in the tracking setting panel.
A box will appear, use the joystick to set the lowest you want your camera to go during tracking and click "Set Bottom Tilt".
Use the joystick to set the highest you want your camera to go during tracking and click "Set Top Tilt".
Use the joystick to set the left most position you want your camera to go during tracking and click "Set Left Pan".
Use the joystick to set the right most position you want your camera to go during tracking and click "Set Right Pan".
