Connecting Dragonframe to AXIBO

Connect AXIBO to Dragonframe

  1. Begin by launching the Dragonframe application on your device. This should take you to the window shown below.

  1. Click the open button at the bottom right of the window.

  2. From there navigate to the top left of your screen to the scene tab and click the connections option within the drop down menu.

  1. This will launch the following window. Click on the add connection button highlighted in red.

  1. Click the device drop down menu and select the DMC-16 / TCP option.

  1. Navigate to a browser and enter your AXIBO's IP address into the URL slot.

  2. Within the AXIBO UI navigate to the settings tab highlighted in green in the following image. Scroll down to the health checks and Dragonframe sections highlighted in red and blue within the following image.

  1. Since your AXIBO is not connected to Dragonframe yet, it will show up as inactive within the health checks section.

  2. To start the connection, enter a four digit port number (1) into the Dragonframe section then press configure (2) followed by start (3). This should activitate Dragonframe within the health checks section (4).

Note: Clicking the configure button is only required for the first time connecting to Dragonframe.

  1. Navigate back to the Dragonframe application and enter your AXIBO's IP address followed by a colon and then the port number in the slot highlighted in red. Then press the connect button highlighted in green.

  1. Exit the scene settings window by clicking ok.

  2. Click the Arc Motion Control tab found at the top right of the Dragonframe application (1). Then, click the drop down menu found at the left middle of the screen (2).

  1. Select the Import drop down menu then click Arc Axis Setup (arcx) to upload the following file.

  1. Use the Dragonframe to interact with your AXIBO!
